General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC)

Introduction

These terms and conditions of sale (GTC) govern all services offered by GoKiteSurf Dakhla. They define the rights and obligations of the parties regarding the sale of wingfoil, kitesurf, and surf lessons, as well as equipment rental.

Article 1 – Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Any booking with GoKiteSurf Dakhla implies the unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

Article 2 – Booking

Bookings are made via our website, by phone, or by WhatsApp. A booking confirmation will be sent to you by email or message after your request is received.

Article 3 – Rates and Exchange Rate

Rates are indicated in MAD (Moroccan Dirham) and include applicable VAT. To ensure total transparency, GoKiteSurf Dakhla applies a fixed conversion rate of 11 MAD to 1 EUR. This rate is used for all transactions made in Euros and converted into Moroccan Dirhams. GoKiteSurf Dakhla reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but services will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time the booking is confirmed.

Article 4 – Personal Data Protection

  • Information collected on booking forms is recorded in a computerized file by GoKiteSurf Dakhla for booking management and customer relations. It is kept for 5 years and is intended for the sales and administrative departments of GoKiteSurf Dakhla.

Article 5 – Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation request must be made in writing by email or WhatsApp and will be considered effective after confirmation from us.
The following cancellation fees apply based on the date the request is received:

  • More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund of amounts paid.

  • Between 30 and 15 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking amount is retained.

  • Between 14 and 7 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking amount is retained.

  • Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the total booking amount is retained.

In case of force majeure or lack of wind, no refund will be issued. A voucher (credit) valid for 24 months will be offered. This voucher can be used by a third party, with prior agreement.

Article 8 – Liability

GoKiteSurf Dakhla makes every effort to ensure the safety and satisfaction of its customers. However, we cannot be held responsible for accidents or injuries occurring during wingfoil, kitesurf, or surf lessons.

Article 10 – Complaints

Any complaint must be sent in writing to GoKiteSurf Dakhla within 30 days after the end of the service.

Article 11 – Disputes

These GTC are subject to Moroccan law. In case of a dispute, the competent courts will be those within the jurisdiction of GoKiteSurf Dakhla’s registered office.

Article 9 – Réclamations

Toute réclamation doit être adressée par écrit à GoKiteSurf Dakhla dans les 30 jours suivant la fin de la prestation.

Article 10 – Conversion of Semi-Private Lessons to Private Lessons

In the case of an individual booking for semi-private lessons, we will do our best to find another participant of the same level to share the lessons with you. However, if we do not find another participant, GoKiteSurf Dakhla reserves the right to convert the semi-private lesson booking into private lessons. The hour equivalence between the two types of lessons is calculated as follows:

  • 2 hours semi-private = 1.5 hours private

  • 4 hours semi-private = 3 hours private

  • 6 hours semi-private = 4 hours private

  • 8 hours semi-private = 6 hours private

  • 10 hours semi-private = 7 hours private

Article 11 – Protection des données personnelles

Les informations recueillies sur les formulaires de réservation sont enregistrées dans un fichier informatisé par GoKiteSurf Dakhla pour la gestion des réservations et de la relation client. Elles sont conservées pendant 5 ans et sont destinées aux services commerciaux et administratifs de GoKiteSurf Dakhla.
